KENT PARK CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT REVIEW AND STRATEGIC PLANNING 2012
Every four years all Victorian Government schools participate in a review process. Our school’s self-evaluation provides an opportunity for the whole school community
to reflect on achievements, strengths and opportunities for improvement.
As part of this process Kent Park will be setting the strategic direction for the next four years. We will evaluate our progress to date, and plan a strategy that is critical to the school’s continued success - improving learning, engagement and wellbeing and successful transitions and pathways for our students.
On Monday 26th of March parents are invited to join a focus discussion group to reflect on the following:
· What does our school do well?
· What would we like to see our school doing well in 5 years?
If you are able to join us in the staffroom following assembly on Monday 26th March please complete and return the slip attached by Thursday 22nd March.

Our school values and beliefs recognise that every child is unique and that the educational needs of each student may be different. We believe that the school’s capacity to inspire and engage each child to fulfil his or her potential is a key to the success of the school. We acknowledge and celebrate the successes and achievements of each student with great pride.
Our current staffing profile reflects a breadth of experience and expertise that contributes significantly to the provision of quality classroom programs. In recent years the school has been transformed through major building and landscaping projects. Our school facilities are outstanding and provide a stimulating learning environment for our students and staff. The building works have provided the school with exceptional teaching and learning spaces that are spacious, inviting, functional and purposeful. The school works in close partnership with Camp Australia in providing a supportive Before and After School Program each day.
A real strength of our school is the strong school/home partnership that exists in our school community. We are most appreciative of the fantastic support we receive from parents and extended family members who contribute significantly to the success of the school.
We are proud of our school and we welcome new students and their families to become part of this quality school and the exciting times ahead.
