At Kent Park Primary School we provide a friendly and supportive learning environment that focuses on high quality teaching and learning and fosters  positive relationships within the school community. We offer comprehensive programs that target the individual needs of children, ensuring that each child attains their full potential. The specialist programs provided are Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Physical Education, Literacy Enrichment and Library and Japanese Years 4 to 6.

At Kent Park our students learn and play in a caring and respectful environment. We focus on building each student's’self-esteem, confidence and pride in themselves, their school and their community.

Our school values and beliefs recognise that every child is unique and that the educational needs of each student may be different. We believe that the school’s capacity to inspire and engage each child to fulfil his or her potential is a key to the success of the school. We acknowledge and celebrate the successes and achievements of each student with great pride.

Our current staffing profile reflects a breadth of experience and expertise that contributes significantly to the provision of quality classroom programs. The dedicated teams of teachers work and plan collaboratively and cohesively, and are committed to continually improving their teaching and learning techniques through participation in quality professional development and mentoring programs. Our collective rigour is fuelled by each teacher’s professional conviction in ensuring that all students are happy, safe and reaching their full potential.

In recent years the school has been transformed through major building and landscaping projects. Our school facilities are outstanding and provide a stimulating learning environment for our students and staff. The building works have provided the school with exceptional teaching and learning spaces that are spacious, inviting, functional and purposeful. The school works in close partnership with Camp Australia in providing a supportive Before and After School Program each day.

A real strength of our school is the strong school/home partnership that exists in our school community. We are most appreciative of the fantastic support we receive from parents and extended family members who contribute significantly to the success of the school.

We are proud of our school and we welcome new students and their families to become part of this quality school and the exciting times ahead.

Please feel free to contact us between 8.15am and 4.30pm for further details or general information.

There is always an open invitation to people who wish to visit our school and discuss the programs provided for children.
