Prep Transition for 2024
At Kent Park Primary School we aim to develop strong partnerships as we recognise that the best educational opportunities arise when a positive relationship exists between the student, home and school. Our goal is to create a sense of belonging and involvement to support children to reach their full potential.
Our dedicated Prep playground is a SunSmart space exclusively for our Prep students and includes a sandpit, passive play areas, sports equipment, basketball court and playground. Once the Prep students have settled into the school environment and feel comfortable, they can transition into the wider playground.
Families are invited to make appointments for school tours and are welcome to join in our many community events including the Market Night, Open Night, Education Week, Book Fairs or our weekly assembly held every Friday morning at 9am in our Assembly Hall.
Proposed dates for 2024 Prep Transition are to be confirmed.
We may also arrange additional small-group transition sessions for Prep students that may be less confident or coming from a kinder or early child care setting without established friendship groups.
Remember, all questions are important and the team at Kent Park Primary School are here to support you through this extremely special and exciting time.
