1. The Stage 2 Building Works have been completed.
The works costing approximately $4 million included:

10 new teaching areas

New Art Room
-
New Library
-
New Computer Learning Centre
-
New Music Room
-
Reading Recovery area
-
Covered ways connecting to Stage One Building Works (completed 2007).
2. Negotiated Review
Kent Park Primary School has completed a Negotiated Review. This type of review is used in schools with student outcomes (results/achievements) and other key indicators above expected levels. Over the last 4 years the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development data shows that Kent Park students are performing very well when examined in a state wide context.
The review theme was 'Building on what we do well'. The review showed that Kent Park Primary School remains a 'High Performing School'.
3. Stage 2 Bulding Works
The Minister for Education Browyn Pike officially opened Stage 2 Building Works on Tuesday May 19th.
4. National School Pride Project
This project has seen Kent Park Primary School granted $200,000 for maintenance/refurbishment of the ten 'Greenland' portable classrooms.
5. Building Education Revolution
The BER program will fund the building of a full sized netball/basketball multipurpose centre.
